Commercial lenders' price for risk and their appetite for certain client segments can change quickly depending on economic conditions. Reducing risk for our clients and structuring debt with as few guarantee obligations as possible is a primary objective.

Security is critical for any lending proposal and commercial lending is no different. They always prefer 'bricks and mortar' property, however, we have secured funding for businesses without property offered as security.

We have helped businesses with equity partner buy-in facilities where the only personal recourse is to the new partner. A clear partnership equity plan and the ability to fully fund the prospective shareholders when they may be at an age where access to free cash and property equity is not maximised can elevate a company as an employer of choice.
